Muggle Studies Class (Advance)

Klaus stood up from his desk with a book in hand and flipped through the pages. "Welcome Muggle Studies. My rules shall be followed or it will earn House Points taken away from your House or Detention. This is a classroom. Not a play ground." He walked around his desk and stood in front of the class. "I would like for you to flip to page 26 in your books. We shall start reading about the muggles history in War. We will skip many wars to World War II."

"Does anybody know what and who started World War II?" He asked the question before he started the lecture on the war.

Noata opened his book, distracted by the teachers apperance. He didn't usually judge on appereances...but he was no old man. Noata raised his hand instantly, looking quite pleased that he knew the answer without even looking at the book.

"Nobody? Please tell me one of you must know some- Oh Noata? You know the answer? Is so Please tell." He smiled at him as flipped the page in his book.

Noata smiled at the professor and pictured the book in his mind, as he always did when he was required to remember a fact or spell. "Well, it started officially with Adolf Hitler's invasion of Poland in 1939, but it had been stirring for quite some time with the aliiances made by different world powers.". He grinned, there was no way he could have NOT nailed that one.

Alaie flipped to the right page and then folded her arms, leaning on her desk. She looked at the page until she managed to focus the words. She was very tired.. She gave a short yawn, which she covered with her hand, to prove it.

Keith walked into the classroom and said, "Why do we have to learn about weak muggles anyway...?"

Klaus stared down at his book as Keith walked into his classroom interrupting it. "I don't take lateness kindly Mr. Nagato, nor do I like loud mouths that interrupt my class." He looked up from the book and stared at Keith. "If you would mind taking a seat and shutting your mouth for a minute you might learn something."

He looked over at Noata and nodded. " You are right. Adolf Hitler's invasion of Poland started the war, though killings of thousands of people had been going on for years before hand."

Noata smiled, Keith taking his seat, and he had answered correctly. He was transfixed by the teacher, somehow, and he didn't know why. It could be his apperance, again...he shook off these thoughts and flipped to the correct page.

"Continuing on.. World War II was a global conflict which involved most of the world's nations. It involved two apposing military alliances.. The Allies and The Axis.
The Allies side was formed with the countries of Australia, Albania, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Greece, India, Luxembourg, Mexico, The Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, the Philippines, Poland, South Africa, Yugoslavia, the British Empire and the British Commonwealth, the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics and the United States of America." Klaus stopped for a minute and looked around. "Shall I write them down? There will be a test over the Countries with the Allies and the Axis."

Noata nodded along with most of the class, watching the teacher intently. He began taking mental notes, burning the words into his mind, his mental journal, this class was slowly becoming one of his favorites, for various reasons, one of them being he just had to memorize some facts,

"The Axis powers were grouped with three main counties of Nazi Germany ,who was the main power, Japan, and Italy. They had minor powers as well. Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, and Yugoslavia joined with them after their King had fled their country from the invading Nazis. Which explains why Yugoslavia was with the Allies at some point during the war."
Klaus flipped the page and looked around the class room. "Are you learning anything Mr. Nagato?" He continued on with the lesson. "The Axis had many other countries under their power but I shall not discuses all of them today. There is too many to be taught over in one class."

Noata raised his hand. "If the Axis powers had so many countries in it, why did they lose to the Allies?" Noata asked, usually numbers meant power, especially in the Muggle world.

"Well, The Allies took the Axis' powers down one by one. Bring them down. After the end of the war the United States and the Soviet Union emerged as the world's Superpowers. Which started another war. The Cold War, though we shall talk about that later on."

He walked over to the chalk board and pushed the board around to reveal a map of the world during the times of the war. "Found this myself after some searching. This was the state of the world during World War II. As you can tell," he pulled his wand out and pointed it at Germany,' Germany was a lot larger than it is now."

Noata nodded, but then remembered something about the first world war. "Wasn't that why they were angry in the first place? Having less land than they used to? Why would they take even more, if it's going to cause damage to the world?" Noata asked, again raising his hand before this.

Keith mumbled something that was barely audible to the teacher, "But it's true they are weak they start more wars and kill more people then us wizards..."

Klaus let out a sigh. He didn't like talking rudely about his own country, but it was part of history. "Well it wasn't really the country that wanted it. It was the person in control. Hitler, he killed thousands of Jewish human beings for just being Jewish."

Noata thought it similar to how Wizards today discriminate against Muggleborn wizards. He knew that the professor was one, so he refrained from approaching the subject. "But if other people didn't support him, why was he allowed to raise to power? I mean, didn't he have a good majority of the country behind him 100%? And the others were just forced to take it?" Noata said, forgetting to raise his hand this time. He figured since not many people were in this class, and not really any one else cared much about it, he should move the class along.

"You're right. Many people supported him and many did not agree with his cruel tactics. Though if you did not agree with him, you were thrown into a camp to rot." He sat the book down on the desk and looked around the class room. "I would like for you to refrain from crude remarks Mr. Nagato. As I said. This is a classroom. Not a Playground."

He continued on the discussion." Hitler used scare tactics to control his people. Many people he said to be be hide were only scared of him. Years after the World War and Hitler. Germany was still split in two. East and West."

Noata nodded quietly, taking more mental notes.

Keith mumbled again, "He's worse then Voldemort...Hitler Killed 10,000,000 people in a term of what 10 years with muggle weapondry? Voldemort and his Death Eaters have killed at the most 500 in almost 30 years so far where him and each of the death eaters can kill somebody by just saying two words? And you're telling me I'm wrong about muggles?" He was done talking for now and put his head down on his desk sure of himself.

"If you're going to continue on interruppting, I'm sending you out. If you dislike my class so much. Why did you sign up for it?" He glared over at Keith. Klaus picked his book back up and flipped through it. "Let us talk about The Holocaust."

"Hitler disliked the Jewish people very much. So, he wanted to get rid of every single one of them. He wanted to make the ultimate race. Blond hair and blue eyes. Hitler would have his Nazi armies go into towns and lie to the Jewish people. Tell them they would be going to a nice place. Though they were going to an unsafe camp to either live and die there or die in a gas chamber and have their remains thrown into a crematory. " At least the student did not know his family down the line was part of the ultimate race at some time. " Some times they would look back in your families history. If there was ever a Jewish relative in your family. You were Jewish to Hitler and you were meant to die."

"But how could they look back int your history? Anyone with half a mind would hide themselves, or run away, wouldn't they?" Noata said, his eyebrows raised.

"All they need is a last name. If you were a citizen of Germany. They had your last name and your family tree on record. Many Jewish people fled to nearby countries or to America, where they would be treated like animals. America did not want them in their country at all. They did not see it as their problem. Until, their state Hawaii was bombed by the Japan." Klaus continued on with the lesson as he sat on top of his desk with his book in his lap. "Does anyone have an questions so far?"

Noata shook his head, watching the teacher with interest, feeling his face flush with slight attraction. No...no...no....Noata said to himself. Why would he think that way?

Keith raised his hand actually interested in the class for once.
